PARK INFORMATION: Welcome to our unique area of Alaska. Chicken is completely off grid. There are no public services available such as groceries, propane, telephone, internet, cell towers, electricity, water, trash, or sewer within a 100 mile radius. Chicken Gold Camp is operating environmentally and ecologically friendly in this remote wilderness area providing limited amenities for our guests. We are a family-oriented park, please be respectful of our rules and your park neighbors to help make everyone’s stay an enjoyable experience.

CAMPING: We have 24 hr electric and non-electric sites. All of our campsites accommodate up to four guests (additional guests up to two for a fee); one motorized vehicle (RV/truck) and one tow (trailer/car/5th wheel) and we allow two pets per site (see pet policy). Wooded tent sites are limited on space and do not have room for a tow. Not included: water hook-up or drain at sites and there is no garbage disposal in park (as the State closed the local landfill). Showers are accessible 24 hrs/day. A Sani-dump and water station is provided free with your stay in the campground and there are also FREE sani-dumps, potable water fill stations and garbage disposals in Tok and Dawson City. LODGING: All of our units are rustic (includes linens) without indoor plumbing (bathroom or shower).  We have units both with and without electric (see unit description). The number of occupants allowed is listed in the description of each unit. One additional person is allowed for a fee, which covers the cost of a cot/facilities use and towels for the shower (no bedding provided). Up to two pets are allowed in lodging for an additional fee (see pet policy). We have a variety of room configuration as well as units for up to 5 guests. Lodging options have different rates and inclusions, see individual descriptions and rates below. 

PARK INFO: Office Hours: 8:30am-6:30pm 7 days per week for June, July & August.  (limited hours are posted for shoulder season (May & September)

• Quiet Hours: 10pm-6am
• Speed Limit: 10mph
• Check-in: Lodging check-in 3pm-6pm. Campground check-in 11am-6pm. Reservation arrivals after 6pm need to be pre-arranged to retain your reservation
• Check-out: Everyone check out by 11am
• Water is all hauled to the park, please fill your water tanks in Tok or Dawson
• Sewage is hauled over 100 miles away, please empty your tanks in Tok or Dawson
• No Trash facilities in the park, please pack it out

PET POLICY: Pets are welcome with well trained owners

• Only two pets per site/cabin
• On a leash at all times
• Cannot be left unattended at camp site or inside lodging
• Clean-up after pets in all areas of the campground
• Lodging units require a non-refundable pet fee
• Pets are not allowed on beds or in bedding in lodging

RESERVATION CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Reservations are paid in full at the time the reservation is made
• All changes and/or cancellations are subject to a $25 processing fee
• 30+ day notice prior to reservation full refund minus the processing fee
• 7+ day notice prior to reservation 50% refund minus processing fee
• Less than 7 day notice prior to reservation no refund issued
• Changes made up to 3 days prior to reservation start are free if length of stay is the same (subject to availability).
• No refunds for early check-outs
• No-shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation
• Check in before 6:30pm or notify us in advance of your late arrival otherwise your reservation may be released to another guest and there is no refund
